SHALOM MINISTRIES (SHAM) HELPED MANY OF ITS MEMBERS IN FINDIND VIABLE HOME GROWING SOLUTIONS

Posted on Posted in Projects

After the darkness Rwanda experienced in the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi, many Rwandans were left as widows and orphans. They were hopeless and thought it was the end of their lives.
After approaching our members, we found that we have many vulnerable people, try to support them in eradicating poverty in their families. Some of them sat down and came up with viable businesses ideas which they presented to SHAM, and they were supported.
Now they are able to pay health insurance for their families, to feed their children and to rent houses in which they live in and getting some basic needs at their home. As they testify, before joining SHAM they were always hopeless, wounded and shy. But now, they have hope and they take time to fellowship together with other SHAM members and share the word of God. They say that God has really healed them.
